“The piano was the first room in the house I felt was entirely mine.”

Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, his interest in music was evident from an early age. At five, his mother sought out a professional piano teacher and his formal training began under Jin Hanwen.

He was later admitted to the affiliated High School of the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music with a top score, and went on to place first in the 2020 Chopin Award (China Region). That same year he gave his debut solo recital in the Concert Hall of the Zhejiang Conservatory, and was selected for the Outstanding Talent Program.
